Our sincerest thanks!
Sadly, that's it for this year's event, but on behalf of the Acorn Team we'd like to thank everyone who came along!
Extra thanks, also, to:
- Phil Pemberton for his vibrant Transputers in Arcs talk.
- Robert Smallshire for his detailed and engaging Reverse Engineering of Acorn's ANFS talk.
- last minute addition Jake Utley who gave us a short demonstration of his unique 1980s User Port 5MHz, 32 channel Logic Analyser prototype and support software on the BBC Micro.
And finally, our sincerest appreciation to the Acorn Computers pioneers:
- Chris Turner, aka CBT, for his colourful Acorn Mémoire
- Prof. Emeritus Steve Furber who gave an excellent talk on his early career at Acorn, and his remarkable later work on SpiNNaker
- Andrew Gordon, also formerly of SJ Research, for his contributions to Chris & Steve's keynotes and throughout the weekend
- All three for their patience and kindness while autographing Acorn-related items (both old and new) for attendees, helping us raise extra money for the museum.
We know Eventbrite has sent out a brief feedback survey, but we'd be very grateful, for those who joined us, if you could fill in our anonymous feedback questionnaire to help us improve things for next year. It's quite short and we can't see who's said what, so please do be honest!
We really hope you enjoyed the event as much as we did, and we look forward to welcoming you back again next year.
