The Econet LAN Party is back! On 18-19th May help us create 2024's biggest Econet network!

If you own a BBC Micro or Archimedes fitted with Econet, we warmly invite you to bring it along. Other Econet-connected curiosities are equally welcome - an Atom, System, Research Machine, or even a 386. Anything suitably out of the ordinary is almost guaranteed to turn heads.

We're keen for this to be more than a static display, so multiplayer gaming very much features in our plans. Feeling tempted to dust off your coding skills? Consider this an open invitation to create or adapt a game that runs over Econet. Colossal Cave will make an appearance, but we’re eager to discover what else the community can bring to life.

Alongside the machines and games, the event will feature a programme of short, focused talks with Econet firmly at their core. Around four sessions per day are planned, ranging from its early history to its continuing life and modern explorations.
